Indian Army

We are based out of Swapna Shahu Nagar, specifically in the Capt Vasant Joshi Colony here in Belgaum. It’s a residential-feeling area with a lot of history tied to the names on the streets. Being part of the Indian Army presence here means things are kept pretty orderly, but the office itself is quite plain. We have the standard metal desks and filing cabinets that you see in most government buildings. There isn’t much in the way of decoration on the walls, maybe a calendar or a map of the local area. The colony is quiet most of the time, except when the kids are playing outside or when there’s a shift change. We handle a lot of the local administrative tasks and paperwork that keeps the wheels turning. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or fancy coffee machines. We drink our tea from small glass cups and get on with the filing. The weather in Belgaum is usually mild, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in. People drop by with questions about their service or paperwork issues, and we do our best to help them figure out what they need. It’s a steady, routine kind of life in the colony. We’ve been in this specific spot for a while now and it’s become a familiar part of the daily grind for all of us here.
