Our place is tucked inside the compound, so it’s a bit of a specific spot to find. We’ve been here in Belgaum for some time, making food every day. It’s a small team of us in the kitchen and at the front. We start early, getting things ready before the first people show up for a meal. Being near the institute means we see a lot of students and staff coming through. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, not like those high-pressure restaurants in the big malls. We just focus on the cooking and making sure everyone gets their food. The compound can get a bit busy during school hours, but it’s generally a nice place to be. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We just have tables and chairs and the smell of the kitchen. It’s a local business through and through. We know many of our regulars by their names or at least by what they usually like to eat. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just us, some good food, and a quiet spot in Nehru Nagar where people can come to eat. We like the way things are and just keep cooking day after day.
