Trisham Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Nipani Jawalka. That’s a village in the Georai taluka of Beed. We use Vidya Angad Kakde’s place at number 99 as our home base. We are a bunch of farmers from the local area who thought it would be a good idea to work together. Farming in Beed isn’t always easy, especially when the water is low. Having a producer company helps us stay a bit more organized with our crops. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning. It’s just a house in the village where we meet. You’ll usually find us talking about the soil or the price of seeds. We aren’t looking to be famous or have our names in the papers. We just want to farm our land and get by. Our English isn't perfect, and we don't use any of those slick business words. We just talk like we do when we’re standing in the middle of a field. If you come to Nipani Jawalka, you can just ask for us. We are just regular people who know a lot about the dirt and the sun. It’s a lot of work, and some years are better than others.
