If you are looking for us, we are right near the Prathamik Arogya Kendra in Takalsing, which is in the Ashti area of Beed. We use Dashrath Jagtap’s place, house number 196, as our home base. It is a familiar spot for everyone in the village. Suresh Anna Dhas is the name we chose for our company because we wanted something that felt like it belonged to the community here. We are a group of local farmers who decided to team up. It is not easy farming in Beed, the water is always a problem and the heat can be brutal some months. We figured that by working together, we could maybe share some of the burdens. We spend a lot of time helping each other out with equipment or advice on when to sow the seeds. There isn't any big corporate structure here. It is just us, sitting on the porch or in the field, trying to make sense of the market prices. We are just trying to make a living and keep our families fed. Sometimes we get things wrong, and the paperwork can be a real pain to deal with, but we keep at it. If you pass by Takalsing in the 414203 area, you will see us working. We are just local folks doing our best.
