Our company, Sunirmal Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located in Talegaon within the Beed district. We operate out of Namdev Ramkisan Dhormare’s place. Beed is a place where you have to work hard to get things done, and we are no different. It’s a long name for a small group of us, but we needed to make it official. We aren't interested in being some big city firm. We prefer being right here in Talegaon where we can see the fields from the front door. Namdev’s house serves as our main hub, so it’s got a very personal feel to it. You might hear his family in the background or the sound of a tractor passing by while we’re trying to count the season’s figures. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from around the Tq & Dist Beed area, but for the local farmers, it’s just a short walk or a quick ride. We keep our files in a few old cabinets and our meetings usually happen around a simple table. There’s no air conditioning or fancy lights, just the sun coming through the windows and the smell of the earth. We focus on what needs to be done today and try not to worry too much about the corporate stuff that doesn't matter to a farmer. It’s just us, Namdev’s house, and the daily grind. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy.
