Skope Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small group we started in Malegaon. We are working out of Shri Sanap Saraswati Jalindar’s place at Post 333. It is located in the Shirur K area. Mostly, we are just a bunch of people from around here who know each other from the fields. Farming is getting harder every year with the costs going up, so we thought starting a producer company might help us buy things like fertilizer or seeds in bulk. It is not a fancy setup. We meet up at the house and talk about what needs to be done. We don't have a big staff or a receptionist. If someone is there, they’ll talk to you. Our address is a bit specific, Malegaon CH Tq. Shirur K, with the pin 414203. Most of us have been farming our whole lives. We know the soil around here pretty well. The idea is just to help the farmers in our circle get their products to the market without getting squeezed by middle men. It’s a lot of paperwork which none of us really like doing, but it is necessary. We share the equipment when we can and try to give advice if someone’s crop is looking sickly. It is a very local thing. We are just trying to keep our heads above water and make sure the village stays productive. You won't find any corporate talk here, just honest talk about farming and survival in the rural parts.
