Shri Pavkai Devi Producer Company Limited is located right near the bus stand in Yedshi. We are set up at Nanasaheb Tanaji Pawar’s place, which is survey number 1578. It is a very handy location for us because almost everyone in town passes by the bus stand at some point during the day. We are just a collection of local people from the Yedshi area. Most of us have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. We started this company because it felt like the right time to work together as a group instead of everyone doing their own thing. It is not always smooth sailing for us. We have long arguments sometimes about the right way to move the goods or which supplies to buy for the next season. That is just how it goes when you have a bunch of stubborn farmers in one room together. The office is a simple place, and it is usually cluttered with grain samples and old bags. We don't have any polished speeches or big corporate promises to give anyone. We just work the land and try to sell what we grow for a fair price. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people stopping in to chat or ask for some help with their own crops. We don't mind the company. We are just regular people trying to make a living in Yedshi. It’s hard work, but we like it that way.
