We are located right next to the Bharatlal Shankar Londhe petrol pump in Tisgaon, which is in the Pathardi area of Ahmednagar. It is not a fancy setup at all. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to get together to manage our crops and sales better. The office is just a simple place where we keep our registers and meet up after the day's work in the fields is done. Living in Ahmednagar means we deal with a lot of heat and sometimes the water is scarce, so we have to stick together. Shri Dakshinadhish is the name we went with, but to the locals, we are just the guys near the pump. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, the cost of fertilizers, and how to get the tractors fixed without spending too much. There is usually some dust coming in from the road because of the trucks at the petrol pump, but we don't mind it much. It is just the way things are here. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy documents for us. We just handle the grain and the paperwork as best as we can. If someone needs to find us, they just ask for Bharatlal’s place near the pump. It is a practical way of doing business and helps the local community stay on its feet without needing outsiders to tell us how to farm.
