Shree Pandurang Agro Farm Producer Company Limited

You can find us at Ghar No 525 on the Parli Road in Manjlegaon. This is Pandurang Dnyanoba Thombare’s place in Dindrud. We are a group of farmers who got together to form Shree Pandurang Agro Farm. The office is right there where we live, so there is always someone around to talk to. We don't have big signs or anything like that. We just work the land and try to manage the business side of things from the house. Beed can be a tough place for farming when the rain doesn't come, so we try to help each other out whenever we can. We handle the grains and whatever else is growing in the fields nearby. It is a lot of paperwork that we aren't always fond of, but it has to be done for the company. We sit around the table and figure out who is selling what and where it is going next. It’s a very local thing. We know the dirt and we know the plants very well. There are no suits or ties here, just regular clothes and muddy shoes. We started this because we wanted a bit more control over our own work. It is a slow process building something like this, but we are sticking with it. We don't have any big promises, just the work we do every day. People stop by the house to talk about the market prices and the weather. That is just how our life is here.
