Savata Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Umapur, which is a bit of a drive out in the Georai part of Beed. You can find us at Tekale Vasti, specifically at house number 1504, which belongs to Namdeo Asaram Tekale. It’s more of a community thing than a typical business. We all live around here and decided to put this company together to manage our farming work better. It’s mostly about the farmers in the local area getting their stuff organized. We don’t have a flashy website or a big sign out front. Most people just know to come to the Tekale house if they need to talk about the company. The roads around Umapur can be a bit rough during the rains, but we still manage to get things done. We spend a lot of time discussing the weather and the prices for our produce. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we make it work because we have to. Being in a place like Bid, you learn to be practical and not waste time on things that don't help the crops. We handle the seeds and the selling when the time comes. It’s a lot of manual work and sitting around a table with tea, trying to figure out the next steps for the group. We aren’t professionals in suits, just people who know the land. Everyone helps out when it gets busy during the harvest months.
