Sangharshkranti Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based at number 155 in Pendgaon, which is in the Beed area. Sangharshkranti Mahila is a company run by the women farmers around here. We decided to get together because it’s better to handle the business side of the farm as a group. It’s a lot of work, but we manage it between our usual chores and the time in the fields. The office at 431122 is where we keep the books and meet to talk about the next harvest. It’s not a fancy place, just a room where we can sit and get things sorted. We deal with everything from seeds to selling the final produce. Being a producer company helps us get a better handle on the prices. We don't use a lot of technical talk; we just say things like they are. If a crop is failing, we look for a solution. If things are going well, we plan for the next year. There are plenty of us involved, and everyone has a say in what happens. It's a community effort through and through. Living in Pendgaon, we all know each other anyway. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big titles. We are just local women making sure our farms and families are doing okay. It’s a practical way to live and work. We just keep our heads down and do the jobs that need doing.
