Parishram Agro Producer Company Limited

Our company, Parishram Agro, is based in Shirur, Latur. We operate out of Narayan Anangadrao Suryawanshi’s place. The name Parishram means hard work, and that’s pretty much what we do every single day. There isn't any secret to it. We just get up and go to the fields to see what needs doing. Latur is a place where you really have to put in the effort if you want anything to grow, especially with the water being so scarce. We are a small group of producers who decided to join up so we could share the burden. It’s worked out okay so far. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or fancy furniture. Most of our meetings happen standing up in the dirt or sitting on the back of a tractor during a break. We talk about the price of seeds and when the rain might finally show up to help us. Our setup in Shirur is simple and honest. We don't try to look like a big city business because that's not who we are. We have dirt under our fingernails and we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. That’s just how it is for farmers. We manage our crops, look after the soil, and try to keep things simple and practical. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that get the job done. It’s a community thing, where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We aren't looking for fame, just a steady life. We keep our heads down and stay focused on the work.
