If you come down to Bansarola in the Beed district, you will find us at house number one. It is a familiar spot for most of the people living around here. We go by the name Padmaai Krushi Utpadak Producer Companylimited, but to most neighbors, we are just the folks they see every day in the fields or at the market. Farming in this part of the world isn't always easy, and the weather in the Bid area can be quite tough when it wants to be. We decided to get organized because doing things solo wasn't really working out like it used to for our fathers. Now, we use this space to sort out our produce and talk about which seeds are actually growing well this time around. It is a lot of back and forth, and sometimes we don't agree on everything, but we get the work done. There is always a tractor humming somewhere nearby and the smell of the earth after it gets a bit of water. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. It is just about getting the crops out of the ground and making sure they get where they need to go. Our days start early before the heat really kicks in, and we stay busy until it’s too dark to see the rows. It’s just how life moves in Bansarola. We just take things as they come and try to stay prepared for the next season.
