Beed is a place where you have to be tough to survive in agriculture, and we’ve been here a long time. Our office is just a small room where we meet up to discuss the business. It’s not painted any special color, and the furniture is mostly stuff we brought from our own homes. We started this because we saw a need for the farmers in Raimoha to have their own voice. We aren't experts in business schools, but we know how to grow things and we know who to trust. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s a pest problem or a broken-down tractor, but we handle it together. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. We just rely on word of mouth and the fact that everyone knows us around here. It’s a humble operation, and that’s exactly how we want it. We are just people of the soil trying to make the most of what we have in this corner of Maharashtra. No big promises, just a lot of hard work and a hope that the next season is better than the last one we had.
