Wagholi is a small place in Beed, and that’s where Narsinha Farmers Producer Company is based. We are at Gavhane Ravsaheb Nivrutti’s place. It’s a typical rural setup. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done. The sun in Beed is no joke, and it shapes a lot of how we work. We usually try to get the heavy stuff done in the morning. Our company was set up to help the farmers around here. We deal with whatever is growing in the fields, whether it’s soy or cotton or grains. It’s a lot of hard work, and sometimes the prices aren't what we hope for, but we keep going. We are just a group of neighbors working together. There’s no big boss here, just people with different jobs to do. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting on the porch talking about the next season. The office is part of a regular house, so it feels very personal. You won't find any corporate slogans on our walls. We just have maps and calendars to keep track of the harvests. It’s a simple operation. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the people in Wagholi have a fair shot at selling their crops. Sometimes the dusty roads make it hard to get around, but we manage. We’ve all known each other for years.
