Nandi Kedareshwar Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Salegaon, which is part of the Kaij area in Beed. We operate out of Haribhau Vishwanath Mule’s place. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We started this because we felt that as farmers, we should have a common voice. There are several of us who contribute to making decisions. We talk about things like which seeds are working better this year and how to get a better deal on fertilizer. The meetings are usually pretty informal. We sit on the porch or in the main room and go over what needs to be done. Our address is easy to find if you’re in Salegaon. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. We mostly rely on what we’ve learned over years of farming. It’s a lot of responsibility to keep the company running, and the paperwork can be tricky for us. But we think it’s worth it to stay independent. The village is quiet, and we like it that way. We aren't looking for investors or anything like that. We just want to do our work and sell our produce fairly. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s the weather or the market, but we just handle it as it comes. It’s a real, local business. We have been working the same land for many generations now and we know it well.
