We are based over in Manjlegaon at house 97 on Beed Road. Muktabai Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is run from Shivprasad Sarjerao Sarkate’s home. It’s a pretty rural spot in Bid, and that’s just how we like it. Most of our days are spent dealing with local crops and talking to the people who grow them. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a simple place where we can get the paperwork done and meet up when we need to. The 431131 area is quiet, but there’s always work to be done if you’re looking for it. We started this because we saw a way to help the farmers around here get organized. It isn’t always easy, and some days we spend more time on the phone than we’d like. But being in Manjlegaon (Rural) means we are close to the actual fields. Shivprasad’s house is where the mail comes and where we keep our records. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy titles. We’re just local folks who know a bit about the agro business. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, or the prices aren't what we hoped for, but we just keep going. It’s a straightforward life out here in Bid, and we try to keep the business side of things just as simple. That’s pretty much the whole story of who we are and what we do here.
