Mitradhan Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Kohini, which is in the Ashti area of Beed district. You can find us near the Maruti Mandir, at Vinayak Jahagirdar’s place on Survey Number 56. We are just a bunch of neighbors who have been farming these lands for years. We eventually realized that we were all facing the same problems with high costs and low returns, so we put this company together. It’s a very local effort. Most days, you’ll find some of us sitting near the temple or at the office talking about the latest rains or the price of seeds. We don’t have any corporate training. Everything we know about farming comes from doing it every single day. The company is just a tool we use to buy things in bulk and try to find better buyers for our crops. It’s not always easy, and there’s a lot of trial and error involved. We have to deal with the dry spells that Beed is known for, which makes everything more stressful. But having this group means we aren’t facing those things alone. We share what we know and try to make the best of every season. It’s a simple, honest way of living, and we just want to keep it going. No big plans, just steady work and a bit of cooperation among friends.
