Krushimulya Hi-Tech Producer Company Limited is based at 19/A in Pathrud, which is under the Mazalgoan taluka in Beed district. We’ve been working out of this area for a while now. The name says "Hi-Tech," and we do try to bring in some newer ways of doing things, but at the end of the day, we are still just a bunch of people dealing with the soil and the sun. Beed can be a tough place for farming because of the water situation, so we have to be quite careful. Our office at Pathrud is where we meet to talk about irrigation and new seed varieties. It’s a practical place, usually filled with bags of samples or posters about farming techniques. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want the crops to grow better so the families here can have a better season. You’ll find us in Manjlegaon quite often too, as that’s where a lot of the trade happens. The company belongs to the producers, which means the farmers themselves have a say in what we do. It’s a lot of responsibility, and we don't always get everything right, but we keep trying. If you stop by the Pathrud location, you might have to wait a bit if we’re all out in the fields, but there’s usually someone around to help. We’re just trying to make the most of what we have here.
