Our office is over at Plot No. 240 in Newtilak Nagar, which is part of the Jogaiwadi area in Ambajogai. We are running things from Nanda Ingle’s place. Kailashwasi Sadashivrao Ingle Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name, but it represents who we are and where we come from. We are deep in the heart of the farming community here. Most of the people involved are neighbors or have known each other since they were kids. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just come to the door and ask for whoever is around. The area is mostly quiet, which is nice when we have to sit down and go through all the accounts and farmer lists. Ambajogai has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. It’s about being reliable and being there when a farmer has a question about their produce. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the fields checking on how things are growing. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it so the local farmers get a fair shake. We’ve got stacks of files and a lot of tea gets drunk during our meetings. It feels more like a community project than a big business, which is probably for the best. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s just us, doing what we can for the folks in Ambajogai.
