You can find us at Masegaon, right at House Number 1. It belongs to Shrihari Marotrao Aanande. That is where we run Agrowill Farmers Producer Companylimited. It is a small village and we are all pretty much neighbors. This whole thing started because we wanted to stop being so scattered when it came to selling what we grow. It is much easier to talk to buyers when you are a group. We don't have any polished speeches or a big brand. We just have our crops and our tools. Most days involve a lot of walking around and checking on the fields. When the harvest comes, things get very busy and the house at Masegaon becomes a hub of activity. We handle the grains and whatever else is growing that season. It’s hard work and our hands are rarely clean. We don't spend much time worrying about how the business looks on paper as long as the numbers add up at the end of the month. People here just want to provide for their kids and keep the farms going for another year. It is a simple way of living, though it can be stressful when the rain doesn't come on time. We take it one day at a time and help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks or when the market prices drop suddenly.
