Janseva Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited

So, we are based out of Daithana in the Parali area of Beed district. It is mostly a group of us who have been farming for years and decided it was time to put our names on something official. We work out of Gutte Daivshala Vankati’s place at house number 151. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a room where we sit and talk about what the crops need and how we can get a better price for what we grow. Janseva Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited started because we saw how hard it was to deal with markets on our own. In Beed, the weather is often a bit of a gamble, and some years are tougher than others. Being in a small village like Daithana means you know everyone and everyone knows your business anyway. We spend a lot of time on our feet, out in the fields, or waiting for transport to show up. It isn’t always easy, and there’s a lot of paperwork that we’re still getting used to. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, or the seeds aren't what we expected. We just try to keep things moving along. If you come by the house here, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some ledgers. It is just local people trying to make the farm work stay steady for the next year.
