Gourideep Farmers Producer Company Limited

Around here in Beed, specifically in Mwadi, we mostly just focus on the land and what it gives us. Gourideep Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who live nearby. We run things from Mahadev Rambhau Suravase’s place at house number 371. It’s not a big office or anything, just a spot where we sit down and talk about the crops and the season. Last year the rain was a bit late, which made things tough for everyone in the village. We started this because doing everything alone is getting harder these days. When you have a group, you can talk to the buyers more easily and maybe get a bit more for your hard work. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know the dirt here pretty well. We don't really have a big plan other than keeping the farms going and helping each other out when the market prices drop. It’s a lot of manual work every single day. Sometimes we get together at Mahadev’s to figure out who needs seeds or where we can sell the harvest this time around. It's just simple people from Beed trying to make a living. You won't find anything fancy here, just some farmers working the ground and trying to keep their families fed. We hope the next season is better than the last one, but you never really know with the weather.
