We are located in Pokhari, which is part of Beed. Our base is at Indubai Manohar Waybhat’s house. This is where we keep our papers and meet up. Ganeshnagar Farmers is basically a group of us who live right here in the village. We’ve all been farming for a long time and we know how difficult it can be to do everything by yourself. We decided that forming a producer company was the best way to handle our crops. We don't have any big corporate office or a staff. It’s just us. We spend our days out in the dirt and our evenings talking about what needs to be done next. Beed is a place where you have to work hard for every bit of harvest you get. We grow our crops and then we try to find the best way to get them to the market. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on our own hard work. The company is a practical thing for us. It helps us buy what we need and sell what we grow. We don't use fancy words or make big promises. We just try to stay honest and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a simple life and we are okay with that. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we just help each other out until it is finished and filed.
