Deokate Farmer Producer Company Limited

This whole thing started at House No 72 in Aanandwadi. We're part of the Deokate Farmer Producer Company Limited, and most of us are just local folks from around Beed. Vishnu Bhagwan Deokate’s place is where we usually meet up to talk about the crops and how the season is looking. It’s a small spot, but it serves us well enough for managing the group. Beed is a quiet area, and being out here in the village means we’re right in the middle of the fields. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Instead, we sit around and figure out the best way to get our produce to market. Sometimes the rain doesn't show up when we want, and other times it's too much, but that’s farming for you. We just try to help each other out so nobody gets left behind. It’s a group effort, really. We handle the paperwork and the distribution right from the house here. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is how we like it. There’s no need for big speeches or fancy titles. We’re just a bunch of farmers trying to make a living and keep the land healthy. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. If you’re ever in Aanandwadi, you’ll likely see us working or chatting near the house. It's a decent way to spend our days together.
