We are located in Wangaon, which is in the Beed district. The main place where we meet is Sudhakar Dhondiram Jogdand’s house. We are all local farmers who have lived here our whole lives. We decided to form this company because doing everything alone was getting too hard and too expensive. Now we try to buy things like fertilizer in bulk so we can save a few rupees. We don't have a professional office with computers and all that. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with some tea, looking at our notes. We grow the usual crops that you see around Beed. Farming is a lot of hard work and sometimes it feels like we aren't getting anywhere, but having the company helps a bit. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy titles. We’re just regular men and women who know how to work the soil. Sometimes the paperwork is a real headache, but Sudhakar helps us get through it. We don't have any marketing plans or big goals. We just want to sell our harvest for a price that lets us buy enough seeds for the next year. It’s a very simple, honest way of doing things. If you’re ever in Wangaon, you’ll see us out there in the fields doing what we’ve always done. It’s a quiet life but we like it. We are just neighbors looking out for each other.
