Sharma Punjabi Paneer Tikka

You can find us at Sharma Punjabi Paneer Tikka right at the 100 Feet Road Main Chowk in Bathinda. We are basically near that Axis Bank ATM on Power House Road. It is a good spot because a lot of people pass by every single day. We concentrate on making paneer tikka and some other local Punjabi snacks. I’ve been working here for quite some time now and it's always busy. The 100 feet road gets really loud with all the trucks and cars, but that brings in the customers too. We aren't trying to be some five-star place. We just have a small counter and a couple of stools. Most people just stand and eat or take it home to their families. The spices we use are the same ones we use at home. I don't like using too much artificial stuff. It’s just me and a couple of helpers trying to get through the daily rush. Sometimes we get orders mixed up when it’s really chaotic, but we fix it quick. We open up in the afternoon and stay till the coal goes out at night. It’s a lot of standing and sweat, but seeing people enjoy a hot plate of tikka makes it okay. We’re just a part of the local street food scene here and we just keep on going day after day.
