La Pino Z Pizza

Working at La Pino Z Pizza in the Mittal Mall in Bhatinda is quite an experience. Being inside a mall means we’re part of a much bigger machine. We are on the ground floor, right at Shop No. 1, so we get a lot of people coming in right after they park their cars. It’s a loud environment with music playing from the mall speakers and people shouting to find their friends. We have a small team here, mostly young people from the city who are working their first or second jobs. It’s fast-paced, and during the weekends, it can get a bit overwhelming when the mall is packed. We don’t really have time for fancy talk. We just focus on getting the dough ready and making sure the oven is at the right temperature. Sometimes we make mistakes, like forgetting a topping or mixing up an order when it’s busy, but we always try to fix it quickly. The mall air conditioning is a blessing because Bhatinda gets so incredibly hot in the summer months. Even though we are part of a bigger name, this specific shop feels like ours because we’re the ones here every day. We know which regulars like extra napkins and who always complains about the wait time. It’s just a normal job in a busy place, and we do our best.
