Sharma Pujnabi Panner Tikka

My name is Sharma and I run this small place called Sharma Pujnabi Panner Tikka in Bhatinda. We are set up on Power House Road, right near the Axis Bank and the Light Chownk. It's a busy corner of the city. We mostly do paneer tikka and a few other Punjabi items that people like to snack on. I’ve lived in Bhatinda all my life so I know what people here enjoy eating. It’s not a big restaurant where you sit down for hours. People usually come by, grab their food, and head off. The grill stays hot most of the evening. We get a lot of noise from the traffic at the chownk, but you get used to it after a few weeks. I handle most of the marinations myself. My cousin helps me with the serving when it gets crowded after sunset. We don’t have any fancy website or brochures. If you’re walking down Power House Road, you’ll probably smell the coal burning. It’s just a simple setup to earn a living. The spelling on some of our old signs might be a bit off, but the food is what matters to us. We just keep our heads down and work. Sometimes we run out of stock early if it’s a weekend. That's just how it goes sometimes and we just deal with it as it comes.
