Sound Machinery Makers

Sound Machinery Makers is situated right on the G T Amritsir Road. We are very close to the Bye Pass Chowk, so there is never a quiet moment with all the trucks and buses zooming past. The name of the business is a bit funny because machinery is never really silent. We build various types of machines in our workshop. It’s a long building with high ceilings to keep it a bit cooler. There are workbenches scattered around with tools and blueprints lying everywhere. We aren't the most organized people when it comes to the office side of things, but the machines we build are solid. Most of our workers live nearby and have been with us since we started. We do a lot of welding and assembly right there on the shop floor. You’ll see sparks flying and hear the sound of grinders almost all day. We get a lot of walk-ins from people who saw our sign while stuck in traffic at the chowk. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer phones professionally. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. It's a busy, messy, and productive place. We just focus on putting the equipment together piece by piece. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we actually stop to talk. It's just a normal workday here.
