GODSONS SPINNERS LTD. is located right on G T Road. We are directly opposite the Sind Bank and very close to the Government School. You can hear the traffic from G T Road all day long. It’s a constant hum of trucks and buses passing by. Our building is quite large because of the spinning work we do. There are rows and rows of spindles and machines. It’s a very busy place. The floor is often covered in little bits of lint and thread, no matter how much we sweep. We have a lot of people working here in different shifts. It’s not a quiet office environment; it’s a real factory. You can see the Sind Bank from our front gate. Sometimes the kids from the school walk past in the afternoons. We’ve been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. The building is older, but it’s sturdy. We don’t have any fancy glass walls or modern art. The focus is entirely on the machines and the output. It’s a lot of hard work and it can be tiring. We take our breaks in a small room off to the side. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the machines inside out. We don’t bother with corporate slogans or big meetings. We just make sure the spinning doesn't stop and the G T Road traffic keeps moving. It’s just life at GODSONS SPINNERS, day in and day out at our facility.
