GULATI MACHINERY HOUSE

We've been here on G.T. Road in Batala for a long time now. Most people around here know the shop. It’s just a place where we keep different kinds of machinery that people in the area need for their workshops or small units. My father started things out, and now we just keep it going every day. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything. We have some heavy tools, lathes, and parts sitting around. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty because of all the iron and grease, but that is how a machinery house usually looks. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what we have in stock. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from folks talking to each other. If someone needs a specific part for an old machine, they usually find their way here. We spend most of the day talking to customers who know exactly what they are looking for. Batala is known for this kind of work, and we are just one part of that whole scene. It’s busy during the morning hours, then things quiet down a bit in the afternoon. We try to keep things simple. There isn't a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. It's just honest work, day in and day out. We like the routine.
