Agro Engineering & Foundry Works

Our shop is right on GT Road, which is pretty convenient for getting things delivered. Agro Engineering & Foundry Works has been a fixture here for a while, and we’ve seen the road change a lot over the years. The foundry side of things is hot and heavy work. We deal with molten metal and big molds, so it’s not for everyone. The air smells like iron and soot most of the time. We don’t really bother with marketing because the work usually speaks for itself when someone sees the finished parts. Most of the guys here have been working with metal since they were young. It’s a specialized skill, but we just see it as a job. The front office is small and usually has some blueprints spread out over the table. We get a lot of local farmers and industrial guys stopping by because we’re right on the main path. It’s a noisy place with the furnaces going and the hammers hitting, but there’s a rhythm to it that feels right. We don't have a corporate structure; the person who answers the phone is probably the same person who was just out on the floor. We keep things straightforward. If you need something cast or engineered for a tractor or a machine, we just get to it. It's a tough way to make a living, but it's what we know. We just keep the fire going and keep the metal moving, day after day.
