Jay Shri Bhilat Dev Krushi Vikas Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Anand More’s house, which is number N-596 in Ward 12. It’s right near the school here in Sendhwa. We spend most of our time dealing with the local farmers and trying to get the crops sorted out. It’s a small operation, really. We aren't a big office with fancy desks or anything like that. Just some people trying to get the work done. You'll usually find one of us around the house or by the school gates during the day. We started this because we needed a better way to handle the farming business in this part of town. The weather hasn't been the easiest lately, but we keep at it. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that's just how it goes when you're running a producer company. We handle the seeds and the produce right here on the premises. It’s a lot of physical work and not much sitting around. If you're walking past the school, you've probably seen us moving bags or talking to the drivers. We’ve lived in Sendhwa for a long time, so we know most of the families around here. It feels right to have our base right in the neighborhood. There's always a bit of tea if someone stops by, though we stay pretty busy with the daily tasks. It’s a simple setup and we just focus on the chores.
