We are a group of farmers who decided it was time to work together instead of just competing all the time. Farming in Anjad has its challenges, mostly with the heat and getting enough water to the right places. We spend a lot of time sitting around talking about what works and what doesn't. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the people in our group get a fair deal for what they grow. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really like doing, but it’s part of the deal now. We keep our tools and some of our grain at the mohalla office. It’s a busy spot especially when the harvest is coming in. Everyone chips in when there’s a big job to do. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just farmers who know the soil around here better than anyone else. If the crops look good, we are happy. If not, we try again next time. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for years under different names. We keep our eyes on the fields and our hands busy with the crops.
