Thar Greens Producer Company Limited

Working out of Chak 3Ksm is a bit different than being in the city. Thar Greens Producer Company Limited is located right at Killa No. 6, Murba No. 287/395. It is proper rural land out here. You won't find many paved roads or streetlights once you get deep into the Murba. We are surrounded by open fields and the horizon goes on forever. It is a lot of hard work out here in the Thar region because the soil and the heat do not always cooperate. We spend most of our time outdoors or in the small shed we use as a base. We are a producer company, so it is all about the actual growing and the people who do it. There is not much in the way of an office, just a desk and some chairs where we sit to talk. The wind picks up a lot of sand, so everything usually has a thin layer of grit on it. We don't mind. It is part of the life here. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade during the middle of the day. The locals know where to find us if they need to discuss the harvest. It is not the kind of place you visit unless you have a reason to be there. We are just a group of people trying to make something green grow in a place that is mostly brown and dusty.
