Our work is based out of Karmisar, at Shravan Ram’s place. Shravan is the son of Ladhu Ram, and he’s been around these parts forever. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us locals got together to manage our farming business. It’s not a fancy office building. It’s just a house where we keep the records and meet up to discuss things. In Karmisar, everyone knows everyone. We talk about the seeds, the water, and what the market is doing. Sometimes we sit on the porch and just talk for hours before any real work gets done. That’s just the way it is here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of through our farming. The soil here has its own quirks, and you have to learn how to work with it. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff ourselves, like the paperwork and the accounts. It’s a bit of a headache sometimes, but it’s better than having outsiders do it. We are just local people trying to make the most of what we have. If you come by Shravan's place, you'll probably find us drinking tea and looking over the latest crop reports. It’s simple, direct, and very local. We don't worry too much about the corporate world because our focus is right here on the ground in Karmisar. It is hard work but it is ours.
