Hot & Cool

Our shop is right in the middle of Katra market in Bara Bazar. If you know Bareilly, you know how busy this road gets. We’ve been sitting here on Katra Manrai Road for quite a long time. It’s a small place, mostly just enough room to serve people quickly. We have a mix of stuff, some cold drinks and some hot bites. In a place like Bara Bazar, people are always in a hurry. They stop by, grab something, and keep walking. We don't have a lot of seating, maybe just a couple of benches if they are empty. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. My younger brother helps me out most days. We start early to set everything up. The market wakes up around ten, and that’s when the rush starts. We hear all the gossip from the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight community. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. If people like what they get, they come back or tell their neighbors. That’s how it’s always been for us. Bareilly is a good place to do business if you don't mind the crowd and the noise. We just try to keep the place tidy and serve the people who walk through the market. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here. We don't ask for much more than that. The market is our home.
