New Moga Dhaba

You’ll find us out in Gram Wakar Ganj, right in the Faridpur area. Being on the road near Bareilly means we see a lot of trucks and long-distance travelers passing through. The dhaba is a basic place, just a roof and some places to sit for people who are tired from driving. We are in Faridpur UP, 243503, and the weather here can get quite dusty and hot. We keep the fires going in the kitchen most of the time because you never know when a group might stop by looking for a hot meal. It’s not like those city restaurants with menus in leather folders. We just have what we have. Most of our days are spent chopping vegetables or cleaning up the tables after a big rush. The village life in Tehsil Faridpur is slow, but the highway is always moving. We have some regular drivers who always stop here when they are on this route. They know where we are located. It gets dark out here at night, so we keep the outside lights bright so people don't miss us. It’s hard work, standing by the heat and dealing with the smoke, but it is the life we have. We don’t have any fancy staff, just a few of us making sure there is food ready for anyone who is hungry. It’s just a roadside stop where the tea is always hot and the benches are ready for someone to take a short rest.
