Bajpai Sweet Corner

We are located in the Bajpai Building in Subhash Nagar. The area is known as Bajpai Tiraha here in Bareilly City, 243003. Bajpai Sweet Corner is a local spot where we have been making sweets for a long time. Every morning starts with the milk arriving and the big pans getting heated up. Making sweets is a slow process and you can’t really rush it if you want them to turn out right. The shop is right at the junction, so it is a very busy spot with people constantly passing by on their way to work or home. We have a counter full of different things, and it gets especially crowded during the festival months when everyone wants something sweet. I spend a lot of time weighing out boxes and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. Bareilly can be a bit dusty and the traffic at the Tiraha is always a bit of a mess, but that is just how it is. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy lights. It is just a traditional sweet shop with benches for people to sit and have a quick bite or a cup of tea. We try to keep the floors swept, but with so many people coming in and out, it is a constant job. It’s just us doing our best every day.
