Naushijaan Restaurant

Our restaurant is on Pisal Pur Road, right across from the main gate of Green Park in Bareilly. It’s a nice location because the park brings a lot of people to this side of town. We’ve been here for a good while now. The place isn't anything too elaborate. We just have our tables, our chairs, and a kitchen that works hard. We are a small team and most of us live nearby. We don’t have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the food is ready when people walk in. Every morning we start by checking the stock and getting the stoves going. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. We’ve gotten to know a lot of the families that live around Green Park. They come in on weekends and it gets pretty loud and busy. During the week, it’s a bit more relaxed. We’ve had our fair share of problems over the years, from plumbing issues to power cuts, but that’s just part of owning a business. We don't try to make things sound better than they are. It’s a lot of cleaning and a lot of cooking. If you’re out for a walk in the park and find yourself getting hungry, we’re just across the road. We stay open until late, just doing what we’ve always done. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in Bareilly.
