Crazy Point

Crazy Point is what we call our shop here on Choupla Road in Civil Lines, Bareilly. We are right across from Bazar India, so it's a pretty easy place to find if you're in the neighborhood. We’ve been at 54 Civil Lines for a good while now. It’s a busy street with plenty of people walking by all day. We mostly do snacks and things that people can pick up while they are out shopping. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who know how to handle the rush. The building is just a standard Bareilly structure, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we keep things basic. We aren't into that polished corporate look you see in the bigger cities. We’re just local people serving local people. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a busy day, but we try to stay stocked up. The weather in Bareilly gets quite hot, so we do our best to keep the place comfortable. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and close when the work is done. It’s an honest way to make a living. Most of our regulars are people who work in the nearby shops or live just a few streets away. It feels like a small community here. Bareilly has its own rhythm and we’ve learned to move with it over the years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop going.
