Sulekha Enterprise

Our shop, Sulekha Enterprise, is located right in the middle of Kashimpur village. We are out here in the 24 Parganas North area, not too far from the Adi Kashimpur post office. It is a bit of a drive from the main city but we have been here for years. Most people in the village stop by when they are heading towards Duttapukur. We keep the place open early in the morning because that is when it is busiest. The building is old but it holds all our stock just fine. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for when neighbors want to sit and talk for a bit. It gets quite dusty during the summer months because of the road right outside. My brother and I take turns watching the counter while the other one goes to fetch supplies. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just a simple name on the front. It is a local business and we know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic near the police station, but we make do. We are just trying to run things properly here in our small corner of the district. It is a quiet life and the work is steady enough for us. We don't really have any big plans to change things around here anytime soon.
