Our office for Maars Technologies is located over in Chinar Park, specifically the Atghara area of Rajarhat. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of new buildings going up all the time. We’re just a regular tech company, which means a lot of people sitting at computers for most of the day. The space is pretty simple, with desks, some chairs, and probably too many coffee mugs lying around. We work on various technical projects, mostly just focusing on the tasks that come in each week. It’s quiet enough for us to get our work done, though you can hear the street noise from outside if the windows are open. We don’t go in for fancy office perks; we just have a place to sit and do what needs to be done. Sometimes we have meetings that go longer than they should, but that’s just part of the job. Rajarhat is always changing, so there’s always something new happening outside our doors. We’ve been based here for a bit, and it’s a convenient enough location for the team to get to. We just show up, do our coding or whatever else is on the list, and then head home. It’s a straightforward environment without any of the big corporate pressure you might find elsewhere. We’re just a bunch of people working on tech stuff and trying to keep the servers running while the city moves around us.
