Sayeed Saloon

Sayeed Saloon is on the ground floor of building 211 along Rajarhat Main Road. We are right opposite the Rajarhat Hazra Masjid, so it is easy to find us if you are in the area. The shop is a typical local spot where men come to get a shave or a quick haircut. We have been here in Rajarhat for a good amount of time. The street outside is always busy with cars and people going to the mosque. Inside, it is just us and our tools. We have a few old chairs that are still comfortable enough. The mirrors have some spots on them, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't stop us from doing the work. We get a lot of locals who have been coming to us since they were kids. It is a noisy, lively part of Kolkata, and we like being in the middle of it. We don't have a website or any fancy booking system. You just show up and wait your turn. Sometimes we sit outside on the step when it is quiet. We use regular soap and blades and try to keep things clean. It is a simple business on a busy road. We are just glad to have steady work and good neighbors around Rajarhat Main Road. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home.
