Sampoorna Ladies Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Rajarhat area, specifically over in Patharghata. It’s a growing part of Kolkata, but our corner still feels like a proper neighborhood. We focus on serving the women who live right around here. Most days are spent doing the usual tasks like cutting hair, applying henna, or helping someone get ready for a local wedding. We don't use any of those big fancy words to describe what we do. We just use our hands and the tools we have to help you look a bit neater. The shop is simple and we try to keep it organized, though with all the bottles and clips, it can get a bit cluttered when we are busy. We’ve had women coming to us since they were girls, and now they bring their own daughters. That’s the nice thing about being in a place like Patharghata; you really get to know the families. Our address is easy to find if you are familiar with Rajarhat. We aren't a big company with many branches, it’s just this one spot where we put in our hours every day. Sometimes we have tea together with the customers while they wait for their hair color to set. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, not like those stiff places in the malls. We just do our job and hope people like the result when they look in the mirror.
