Manasi Ladies Beauty Parlours is located in Narayanpur, Rajarhat Gopalpur area of Kolkata. We are quite close to the VIP Airport, so the planes are always flying overhead. This is a place specifically for women from the neighborhood to come and get their beauty work done. We handle things like threading, waxing, and hair cutting. The shop is tucked away a bit but most ladies around here know where we are. It’s a small, private space where people feel comfortable talking while they get their hair done. We have a few chairs and a separate area for more private services. It isn't a high-fashion studio, just a local parlor where we use regular products that people are used to. During the wedding season or festivals like Durga Puja, we get extremely busy and the shop stays open much later than usual. We try to keep things organized but sometimes there are too many people and not enough chairs. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and hair until we get a chance to clean it. We’ve been here serving the Narayanpur community for some time now. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in the area. We just do the daily work and keep the shop running for the local ladies.
