Lalani Computer Academy-Barasat Centre

If you go near Platform No-1 at the station, you’ll find the Lalani Computer Academy-Barasat Centre right there at 33/1 K.N.C. Road. It’s a very convenient spot for anyone coming in by train. We spend our days surrounded by the hum of computers and the sound of students trying to learn something new. The classroom is always a bit lively, especially when a new batch starts. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains whistling and the announcements all day long, but you get used to it after a week or so. We aren't a big, cold institution. It’s more of a local place where people from the neighborhood and nearby towns come to pick up some skills. The desks are simple, and the monitors are always on. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just help people get comfortable with technology. Sometimes the keyboards get a bit dusty, but we keep things running as best as we can. It’s rewarding to see someone finally understand a piece of software. We’ve been at this Barasat location for quite some time now. K.N.C. Road is always buzzing with people, so there's never a dull moment. We just open up, turn on the machines, and wait for the students to arrive from the platform. It's a busy, honest way to spend the day and we like it. The proximity to the station makes life a lot easier for everyone.
