Emaze India Web Studio

Emaze India Web Studio is located out in Dharmapur, Gaighata. It’s in the North 24 Parganas district, which is a bit of a journey if you are coming from the main part of Kolkata. The air is a little cleaner out here, and there are more trees than buildings most of the time. We work out of this space at 743249 and it suits us just fine. Most days start with someone opening the shutters and letting the morning light in. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of people; it’s just a small group of us handling web stuff. We don't use big words or have long meetings that go nowhere. We just sit down, see what needs doing, and start building things. The local area is pretty calm, so we don't have to deal with the constant honking of city traffic. Sometimes a cow wanders past the window or the local vegetable sellers shout out their prices, but that’s just part of being in Gaighata. We’ve got our computers and a decent internet connection, and that is really all we need to stay busy. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. We’d rather just focus on the code and the designs. It feels more honest working this way, away from all the flash and polish of the big city tech parks. When the rainy season comes, the whole place turns very green and we just keep the coffee going.
