Budhram Shaw Agro Products Private Limited

We are over at Ward 8 in Kharida, specifically in the Bengalipara area. Our house number is 9/9, though people usually just find us by looking for the big gate near the main path. Budhram Shaw started this as a small way to help out with agro products in our neighborhood. We don't have any big corporate structure or managers in suits. It’s mostly family and a few neighbors helping out when things get really busy. The office is just a front room in the house where we keep the books. We keep things simple here because that's what we know. Whether it's grain or other supplies, we try to have what's needed on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expect, but we try to restock as quickly as the suppliers allow. Living and working in the same spot means people knock on the door at all hours of the day. We don't mind it too much. It’s a tight-knit place, this part of Bengalipara. You see the same faces every single day. We don't use big words or try to sell things that people don't actually need for their farms. If the crop is bad one year, we feel it just as much as everyone else does. It’s not always easy to make ends meet, but it’s our home. We've spent a lot of time learning which products work best for the local soil around here. It’s a lot of trial and error.
